Points of Interest
These are Narrative descriptions of points of interest around the city giving visuals beyond the limitations of SL Building without getting custom meshes and other objects commissioned.
Indentured Stills
The Indenture Stills is one of the only municipal buildings within the Low Streets, located on High Street with the city’s other major places of business.

A minimum of four Nov Ostoyan city guards are stationed at its entrance at any time. The guard doubles during the Blood Hour. Metal stills of different sizes occupy most of the inside, holding gallons of recently harvested blood.
Gracious Goods
The general store of Gracious Goods located in High Street has seen better days, as its shelves lack various products and its exterior looks shabby at best. This store offers basic adventuring gear, though he only carries second hand and low quality gears valued at 5 GP or less. In addition to a small selections of a produce and cuts of meat.

The Jolly Riser
This five-story tavern is both a piece of ancient necropolis architecture and the Nov Ostoya headquarters for the Crownbreakers. Three of the four stories are belowground and constructed from black stone engraved with skulls, bones, and other symbols pertaining to the dead. These engravings have been defiled with paint or are used as hangers for coats, weapons, or wine racks.
The tavern is the base of operations for the Crownbreakers gang and they don’t tolerate outsiders starting trouble here. Ten Crownbreaker bruiser hang out somewhere on the tavern’s four levels at all times, and they won’t hesitate to knock some sense into anyone who tries to start trouble on their home turf.
During the Blood Hour, the number of bruisers here increases to 15, as the gang gets their people off the streets. Either way, starting trouble here is a dangerous idea.
The Silver Shirke
The Silver Shrike is a two‑story tavern of pale win‑light gray stone, quite the standout in the Low Streets for its well‑kept façade and steady flow of discreet visitors. Inside, the atmosphere shifts into something far more refined. Dark, polished wood lines the interior, grand fireplaces anchor each level, and rich tables, deep booths, and soft furs create a warm, intimate space arranged for privacy and quiet conversation.

The ground floor serves as the public area, where locals and travelers gather under the subtle watch of the Volitant. The second floor is entirely restricted, accessible only to members of the gang. Behind its locked doors lie the tools of their trade—disguise and forgery kits, silk ropes, poisons, antitoxins, and the sensitive records and secrets they collect throughout Nov Ostoya. It also serves as their planning space, where information is traded, leverage is crafted, and opportunities are shaped.

Reign Legalities & Testaments
This surprisingly elegant business located at the border between the Low and High Street provides legal advice and arranges testaments for the residents of the Low Streets. It is a slow business, as wills are of less concern to the people of the Low Streets than basic survival, so the legal practice found another way to make coin.
The business is a front for a quality forgery operating within the Low Streets.

They forge licenses, city passes, and similar documents for the people of the Low Streets and charges a hefty fee for her services. She often works with the Volitant and the Crownbreakers who want to convince them to pay them protection of 50 gp per month.
Gemwright Forge
A tiny plastered‑stone hut pressed into the corner of the Low Streets along the inner wall to the docks. The building holds only a single living room; all the work happens outside.
A small awning fixed to the side of the structure shelters the forge, anvil, and a narrow workbench crowded with chisels, clamps, and jeweler’s tools. Crates and shelves built against the wall hold trays of raw and cut gemstones that catch the forge‑light in sharp flashes.

The smithy is known for fusing gemstones directly into weapons. Dockworkers, mercenaries, and wanderers stop by the little corner forge for blades marked by its signature carved facet. If they can afford it.
Sullen Alley
Sullen Alley, also known as “Sally,” or “Sally’s Place,” is the primary location for bliss addicts to congregate and indulge in the effects of the drug.
It lies in ally between the Indentured Stills and behind Gracious Goods, making it a spot for people to meet without worrying about gang affiliation. The alley is more of a through way leading behind the buildings. Barely conscious people sit leaning against the walls of the alley, and others meander back and forth nervously.

Bliss is a golden powder that has been pressed into a small bead about half an inch in diameter. If placed under the tongue, it dissolves over the course of 1 minute and fills the user with a sense of profound euphoria. Pure relaxation overcomes the user and all their worries are washed away as the drug takes the effect.
In the Low Streets of Nov Ostoya, the phrase “going to visit Sally” is a euphemism for taking a bliss. Bliss addicts are recognized by their teeth and lips, which are stained orange-yellow by prolonged usage.
Surf's Rest
The Surf’s Rest is a quaint, sea‑worn inn built directly along the city’s stone sea wall, close enough that the sound of waves is a constant backdrop. Its timber frame and plastered walls show the soft wear of salt and wind, giving it a calm, lived‑in feel amid the bustle of the waterfront. A small bathhouse is attached at ground level, offering warm seawater soaks to sailors and travelers coming in from the docks.
Inside, a narrow stairway leads to the second floor, where a small, uncovered terrace opens toward the harbor. The terrace holds only a few tables behind a simple railing, but the view is striking—lantern‑lit ships, shifting tides, and the steady movement of the docks below. Guests often linger there for quiet meals, drinks, or a moment of stillness above the noise of the waterfront.

The Surf’s Rest is known less for grandeur and more for its steady comfort: a warm bath, a simple meal, and a terrace that catches the sea breeze and overlooks the water without distraction.
High Stakes
High Stakes stands just off the docks as a two‑level wooden structure raised above a run of open storage bays and market stalls. The lower level is a busy, open‑air frame where crates, vendor tables, and quick‑moving goods fill the shaded space beneath the building. A single exterior stairway leads up to the upper deck, where the gambling house truly comes alive. The platform is open on all sides, enclosed only by sturdy railings that overlook the docks and the constant movement below

The deck is arranged with tables for dice, cards, and the house’s signature games of chance. Sea air, dock noise, and the murmur of crowds drift freely through the space.

High Stakes has earned its reputation as the docks’ most infamous gambling spot—rowdy, risky, and always alive. Its tables draw a shifting crowd with every tide: sailors fresh off their ships, locals chasing luck, and travelers looking for a thrill before heading deeper into the city.
House of Garments
A regal‑looking merchant oversees the House of Garments, a shop he has run for nearly a century. His manner is warm and jovial, yet he works with remarkable precision. With the help of assistants from the Low Streets, he produces a steady flow of clothing for the residents of the Heights, many of whom rely on his designs to signal taste and standing.

His work often sets the tone for what is considered fashionable in the region. Those hoping to move comfortably among the refined company of the Heights frequently seek him out. He keeps a selection of garments from earlier seasons—still elegant and well‑made—which he offers for 15 gp. Though no longer at the height of fashion, these pieces remain perfectly acceptable in polite company.

For those wishing to match the current trends, he provides attire from the newest season for 45 gp, each set requiring about one hour for custom fitting. These garments reflect the latest styles and are tailored with care, ensuring the wearer meets the expectations of the city’s more discerning circles.
Midnight Vintage
A small winery sits across from the Indentured Stills, its doorway marked by the clean scent of crushed grapes instead of blood. The shop is narrow and quiet, with barrels stacked behind a worn counter and bottles arranged in careful rows. It offers simple, affordable wine to the people of the Low Streets. A steady trickle of locals stops in throughout the day, grateful for something that tastes like life rather than obligation.
Sickly Sweets
A small bakery sits in the heart of the Low Streets, its warmth spilling into the alley from a battered wooden door. Inside, the space is cramped and worn, with shelves crowded by an array of simple breads and modest sweets—fresh loaves, hand‑shaped rolls, honeyed buns, and whatever the baker can afford to make that day. Nothing is fancy, but everything is warm, cheap, and made for the poor who rely on it for their daily meals.
Hex and Hem
Hex & Hem is a tiny tailor’s shop tucked deep in the heart of the Low Streets. Inside, bolts of cheap fabric are stacked to the ceiling, and the air smells of dye, worn cloth, and constant mending. The space is cramped, cluttered, and always busy, offering simple garments and quick repairs for the poor who rely on it to keep their clothes serviceable.
Sunleaf Apothecarium
A small apothecary, its shelves crowded with jars of dried herbs, loose‑leaf teas, tinctures, and simple potions. The air is warm with the scent of flowers, roots, and smoke,—quiet, earthy, and a little mysterious. Everything inside is handmade, practical, and meant for those who rely on herbs more than coin.

Blackharbour
The grounds of Blackharbour, the main keep of Nov Ostoya and home to the ruling Crimson Court, overlooks the city atop cliffs new by. Guards and officers of the Scarlet Watch are stationed at all entrances to ensure no one sneaks in, and nobles file through the main gate at a steady pace.
Where will you make your mark?
