How do Ranks work?
First, Levels are not Ranks. Levels are merely a way to track your progress through the ranking system You do not have to do it yourself. When you create a character you will have the option of Ranks E-C or equivalent. If you choose to start Rank D or C you will start still from level 0 and will have to build up that your level over time. For Guild Members that may mean completing a series of quests. While for monsters it may be defeating those Questers. Or just overall being active and participating.
We watch, we notice your efforts.
Characters are not required to Rank Up, and may wait for Roleplay circumstances. But ,may via the Character Menu and "Rank Up" Option if eligible at anytime.
