Sim Rules
The Following rules are in place to protect you, our community, ignorance of these rules is not a excuse for breaking them. No one not even staff nor the owner is immune from the consequences of breaking the rules.

OOC Observers are permitted with OOC Tag Provided automatically when passing through the IC Portal during this time, please respect any ongoing roleplay by observing in silence and do not remove the OOC TAG
Three Strike System
The three strike system is for handling repeated major rule breaks.
Minor Offences will be handled on a case by case basis.
Those who become a constant firestarter or make nuisance of themselves on a OOC Level will be removed from sim at the discretion of the owner.
First Offence
First major offence, we will simply educate, and moderate if needed and move on.
We're only human, it happens.
Second Offence
Your second major offence. A reminder and warning will be issued. Moderation applied if needed.
Final Offence
A final offence comes after another repeated major rule break, and will earn a final warning. After which the next step will be temp ban or permanent depending on the severity of the offences on record.
Getting Started
While this is a server that encourages newer players to learn the ropes of RP, this is still a Roleplay server.

-
You must be In-Character at all times while on the server, the exception to that being your private rental, the ooc area or the landing zone.
-
OOC Chatter, while in your private rental, should be kept to direct private messages.
-
"Summon without Witness" is rated as a adult region even though our roleplay focus is not focused on such content. That being said no children. All players and avatars must appear 18 years or older.
-
Flying is allowed as long as your character has wings, the only exceptions to this is the lung dragon. Hovering at a constant level ( ie hovers instead of walks), no vertical gain is fine.
-
Magic and Dash Huds should be kept to a minimum and must make sense for your character if they are used to enhance rp. Just because a hud has something doesn't mean it makes sense to use it.

Code of Conduct (major)
Disrespect toward the community, and more importantly toward any member of the community (staff or player) is considered a bannable offense. Length of the ban can be temporary or permanent. We are all adults lets treat each other with respect. Roleplay is consensual if you do not wish to interact with someone excuse yourself and move on.
Disrespect includes, but is not limited to:
-
Talking bad about other players RP or skill level
(even on other mediums like Twitch, other Discords, etc.) -
Harassing another player OOC for decisions made IC
-
Demanding something from another person OOC
-
Resurgence has ZERO Tolerance Policy for the following, Sexism, Racism, Homophobia, Other Prejudices are strictly disallowed out-of-character and should never be use IC as a OOC Jab. You don't have to like everyone but you also do not have to voice it.
In Character Actions = In Character Consequences

Avoiding the consequences of your actions is a 2 point offence.
It is never ok to be the villain, or commit offences against others but hide from from the storm that follows be it by rerolling, leaving sim, or simply shelving a character

If you need assistance or have questions, please send a Notecard to the owner.

Guidelines
Meta-Gaming (major)
Information obtained outside the game (OOC) must never be used in active roleplay. This includes Discord calls or messages, OOC chats, private messages, anything not said, seen, or written in open chat on sim, and even using a nameplate to identify someone’s name. All of these are considered metagaming.
Metagaming also covers information not provided through another player’s roleplay, such as scent. If you do not recognize someone or they are disguised, you must use roleplay to determine their identity and you may not add details to another's characters that the did not provide (like scent)

Power-Gaming | God-modding (major)
Power-gaming is the abuse of mechanics or roleplay concepts to give your character an unfair advantage they would not normally have. The term is often used interchangeably with god-modding.

It also includes taking choice away from another character. Any action performed on another player must always be written as an attempt, not an automatic success. Example: /me attempts to grab the boy by the neck. — you cannot simply state that you grabbed them.

Dress Code
Avatars must appear adult; underage or childlike looks are not permitted, and staff may require adjustments if deemed too young.
Modern clothing is only permitted for a single outfit if the character is a Summoned Otherworlder. Semi‑modern styles may be allowed if they fit fantasy/medieval influences, confirm with Owner if questionable. (Click for examples) Acceptable styles include Medieval, Edo, Victorian, and Fantasy. Nudity is permitted, but expect social consequences in a city setting.

Disallowed:
-
Underage‑looking avatars
-
Latex and overly synthetic materials
-
Cyberpunk attire
-
Blackpowder based guns, etc (we have magic, fire magic, explosion magic, get a mage)
-
Cell‑shaded avatars, game rips, or cartoon‑like models (realistic detail required)
-
Anime heads with youthful body proportions
-
“Mega” body parts (genitalia or proportions far beyond realistic scale)
-
Absurd bodybuilder physiques

While anime influences are welcome, avatars must maintain realistic proportions, textures, and detail wherever possible.

The SL AVATAR "WELCOME PACKET" is a free way to upgrade to bento and mesh.
Please do so if you are still using a default sl avi. there is no huds involved you just wear it like you would your normal clothing as it is BOM.

Monster Forms Restrictions
-
Allowed demi-human transformations: Monsters with permitted demi-human forms may transform into standard demi-human types (elf, half-elf, dwarf, halfling). These are true transformations, not illusions.
-
Non-standard species requirement: If using any other species for a demi/human form, it must clearly reflect comparable traits from the monster’s true form (e.g., horns, wings, coloration, stature). If the traits don’t logically match, it’s not allowed. Unless Specifically Stated.

Furry Avatars
Furry Avatars are allowed within reason. They must fit the species and avoid cartoony styles—use realistic textures, colors, and proportions.

Currently species approved use:
-
Beastfolk
-
Kobold (Short Size)
-
BlinkBeast
-
Minotaur
-
Tanuki (Short Size)
-
Anima, Fabled Fox, and Sly Racoon Head currently approved
-
-
Dragonborn
Re-rolling a New Character
Rerolling means a complete reset—you give up all progress, titles, and storylines to start fresh. Shelving a character purely to avoid roleplay consequences is considered avoidance and may be treated as such. New characters cannot know anything about the actions or experiences of previous ones, even if related.

Alternate Accounts and Characters
Players may maintain more than one character at a time, but each must be portrayed as a completely distinct identity. This means different appearances, names, and background information are required, and each character must belong to a different race. Characters created under the same player cannot share knowledge of one another or interact with each other. This separation ensures variety, fairness, and immersion across the roster.

Character Survival & Consequences
Your character’s life should be valued as if it were your own. Reckless actions that would be nearly impossible should not be attempted casually, unless they fit the nature of your character. For example, a lone human surrounded by a hungry wolf pack should fear for their life; survival in such a situation requires allies, not bravado.

-
No invincible concepts: Characters must face risk and consequence; ignoring survival is not permitted.
-
Death is optional, consequences are not: While you may choose if your character dies, wounds, injuries, and recovery roleplay are mandatory when appropriate.

Recovery is part of the story. Playing out injuries and healing with others adds depth and realism, turning setbacks into opportunities for collaborative storytelling over time.

Resurrection Roleplay
Resurrection Roleplay, while possible comes with a price and would require a resurrection pact made in advance with a powerful entity, the price of such a pact, should be costly to your character in the long run.

Transformations vs. Illusions
A Monster's allowed forms are physical transformations. Compared to player allowed Illusions (Through means of a spell like, Disguise Self) are visual only and must be inspectable. Illusions cannot alter limb arrangement or core anatomy (a humanoid cannot appear as a quadruped Hellhound). Accessories added by illusion (hat, tail, etc.) will fail inspection.

True Polymorph for non Monster characters is disallowed at this time.

Species Changes
The only species changes that will happen is a human transitioning Curseborn, Aasimar, or Kalashtar (coming soon). No other species changes will be allowed, start a new character.

Guild Quests
Members without a registered Guild ID cannot take requests from guild boards.

Generic quests should not occur within the city unless it is a real‑time emergency (e.g., goblins attacking the harbor). Named quests may take place anywhere; once defeated, the monster’s name is forgotten by the players, while the monster itself forgets the names of those who attacked it.

All guild quests must be recorded with an RP log to be turned in.

Hunts: Hunts inside the city require evidence and Guild authorization. Some monsters may be familiars to adventurers or citizens and are protected as residents.

KOS (Kill on Sight): Direct KOS is not allowed. Aggressive roleplay must be portrayed before hostile dice combat, especially for thieves, hunters, and outlaws. Exception: Active war or raid zones are open KOS areas. Entering such zones makes you a valid target.

Captives & Hostages: Without OOC agreement, captives may only be held for 20 minutes without active roleplay before release or escape must occur. No player may be held longer than 48 hours unless all parties agree.

Rentals
Rental homes are designated safe zones. Players pay real L$ to rent these spaces and have the right to safety within them. Renting a home does not grant permission to rez objects outside of your rental, even if you are under your rez limit. Temporary rezzing is acceptable only if cleaned up at the end of a scene.

Rentals may not be entered without the renter’s permission, except for those that double as IC businesses within the human village. Objects must never be rezzed inside another rental without explicit permission, as they count against that renter’s land impact allotment.

Manor Houses are locked family residences and may only be rented by request when housing three or more tenants.

By Renting here you agree to the following:

-
Adhere to Linden Labs TOS
-
Adhere to Server Rules at all times

-
You may not sublet for L$ but you may allow others sim members to live at your property for free.
